Uhhh, not necessarily. I served with some wealthy ones, but I also served with
school administrators, dairy farmers and other regular Joes still planning on returning home and going back to work.

The most important factors are your financial ability to not work for three years, your ability to leave your employment if still employed, your family and personal circumstances and, your level of debt.

Certainly, many wealthy people are in a better position than those with fewer means, but, wealth itself is not a requirement. I am proof of that.
