Free Agency is the way players can exert pressure but straight up quitting like
Harden, Kyrie, or Kawhi. I can’t respect that. Teams have an incentive to keep superstar players happy, especially if they are close to free agency. But They shouldn’t have to bow to unreasonable demands. Also, Kyrie and Harden chose to sign/resign with their teams so it isn’t like they were forced into their situation.

Letting a team know you are not going to re-sign with them or even sometimes asking for a trade isn’t a problem to me. I don’t really have a problem with what PG or AD did.

Also it’s harder for NBA players to get no trade clauses, but they do exist and I’m pretty sure Harden qualified to have one in his contract in 2017 but didn’t get it in there.
