but it will depend on scheduling and depth. If BYU continues to schedule 5-7 P5s a season, 10 wins is very unlikely unless something changes in recruiting. It's a bit of a vicious cycle, can't win 10 without recruits yet can't recruit well only winning 7-9 games. I'm not saying that BYU can't do it, but that is the difference between G5 and P5, the depth.
This is a very big year for BYU, have you turned the corner or was 2020 just an easy schedule? Problem is that you start off really rough, replacing Grimes, NFL linemen, and QB along with guys on defense. Arizona isn't much but they have guys who can play and who knows how they will come out in 2021. Then onto Utah and ASSU which will likely mean 1-2 if not worse, that beats you up for the next 3 and then back to another P5 stretch. If you come out 8-5 this season it will be a good one and I think people will look at 2020 as a fluke season.
BYU has good talent but is it any better than the P5s you go against? Rating sure don't think so.
