Byu does well against middle AAC, not against top.
Also byu recruits utah and Cali and has very little crossover with AAC, so we don't compete for the same recruits. Prior to Indy, we rarely, rarely had worse classes than teams like Houston and UCF. Byu had dropped about 20 spots on average since going Indy.
Byu actually hasn't even done that well against the AAC considering games like ECU and USF recently.
