Don't buy him tickets. Talk to coaches first. It could be a violation
It could make you a defacto "booster" and then cause BYU to have a violation if you provide a "recruit" with tickests. NCAA regs are very tricky.

You should encourage your friend to take his son to a BYU camp if they have any this summer. If not, definitely next
