It is interesting. I don’t know a single person that pirates music anymore
When that seemed very common throughout the 2000s and even into the beginning of last decade.

First internet radio started like Pandora. And then all the sudden Spotify and Apple Music start offering basically everything for $10/month and it basically killed piracy overnight for the common person. (I’m sure there are still some pirates out there, just nowhere near as many).

Similar for movies and tv shows and how easy it is to steam or rent anything you want at any moment. But that probably hasn’t been killed as effectively as music.
