With that said, here's a few things:
-Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Park (Great hiking, etc.)
-If it's warm enough, eat on the deck at Schnepf's in Golden at sunset. Spectacular view and great food with a twist.
-Downtown Golden can be fun
-If you have time, going to Colorado Springs to see Garden of the God's is spectacular
-Also, if time, drive up to Frisco/Silverthorne/Breckenridge area. Ice Castles are up there. You can go see the giant troll in Breckenridge. Lots of hiking/snowshoeing trails, etc.
-Go hike up to the Flatirons in Boulder and walk around Pearl Street. Lots of cool places to eat in the area.
