The irony is that ramen exists because of America. After WW2 there was a major
rice shortage in Japan. Under the Marshall Plan, the US helped Germany and Japan rebuild. Part of that was giving Japan a whole lot of wheat. We don't grow rice here, but we sure do grow wheat. So ramen was invented out of necessity.

Anyone else a real sucker for ramen? For me I love about all types. Could maybe eat my body weight in ramen.
