Those 7th and 8th graders would eat most people alive. And substitute teaching doesn't count because it's nothing like teaching a real curriculum and engaging 270 students, keeping track of their progress, and remediating the ones who struggle. It's a tough job and there's a reason there's a 40-50 percent teacher burnout rate within the first few years.
