For sure. Shame. That’s the most logical reason for a doctor to ask whether you were vaccinated against a pandemic
causing illness. Especially when you are being hospitalized for that suspected illness. To shame them.

Or maybe because you want to know the likelihood that the presumed diagnosis is actually the true diagnosis, especially when the viral pcr can return positive for weeks after initial illness.

And what if someone intentionally didn’t get the vaccine and now they’re sick? Shouldn’t a doctor to ask their reasons why in order to better understand the barriers to vaccination in their community. Or would that be too shameful? Best just not to ask?
