NextLevelGuitar.com really helped me get going on guitar. They have a great course to take you from beginner to at
least intermediate. Their lessons are really well done.
It is a paid site, though, so if you are not wanting to invest any money in this hobby, you should look elsewhere. On the other hand, having some skin in the game really helped me keep going whenever I hit a plateau or when life got too busy.
