I think people are too eager to dwell on one season.
What I meant is that Wentz had one bad year which was definitely hurt by historic offensive line issues and people assume he's done.
Reid had one bad year after his son died. He was done.
It's the same idea. In the sports world, it's uncommon to find patience.
There are also people who think the Jets should give up on Sam Darnold already after letting Robbie Anderson go last offseason. I don't get it.

Side note on Buffalo, I think Allen is who they needed. He is right for them and I am not sure Mahomes would be the same
