I'm 44, Ive had a heart attack, bilateral PE, DVTs from ankle to hip twice in one leg, venous insufficiency in the other (calf swelled up bigger than my thigh), I just ignore superficial blood clots because Ive had so many, and sleep apnea. I'm 5'11" and about 205, run 3 times a week, go to the gym 1-2 days, I hike in the summers and stay active. Every time I go for a physical they tell me I'm in excellent health. But I can't get life insurance and I am fully aware that I could die suddenly at any time.
