Question about selling a stock during a sell off

This may be a dumb question. Let’s say I have GME stock at $150 and I sense that a sell off is starting. If I decide to sell during the sell off, why would somebody buy my stock knowing that the price will continue to decline?

They won’t. They will bid the price as low as they can and they feel the stock is worth. That’s why when it’s falling

exactly, most savvy buyers (based on research not experience) will buy back in at the point they think it is bottoming
