yeah i would say i have more nostalgia for disneyland, but i think WDW is better
My first several disney park experiences were at disneyland when i was a kid and my wifes family lives within 30-45 minutes of disneyland so weve been able to sneak in several disney trips. I've done orlando 2-3 times. I think it just builds on the experiences i've had as a kid at disneyland. I don't even usually hit up magic kingdom in Orlando because I've kind of been there and done that and when i'm in Orlando i want to make sure I do the stuff that I can only get in Orlando. I'm one of those people that just loves Epcot. I love world travel and food. At epcot you get to walk around and feel like you are in all these different countries and try all these different foods. Its just a change of pace for a theme park that I just love. And last time around our best day was at Animal Kingdom. Our kids loved the Avatar stuff--it has the best ride of all the parks IMO, they loved the safaris and the lion king show and Expedition Everest. We just loved it. Disneyworld has 4 main parks to choose from and a few other odds and ends like the waterparks typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach. And Universal Orlando is great too. Disneyland has the 2 parks. Disneyland is the original so it deserves credit as such and nostalgia for it is off the charts amongst generations of people now. But I think the variety that Orlando offers just offers a better overall variety and exprience.
