A) go to a church school (BYU, BYU-I, or BYU-H), and get subsidized tuition,

or

B) go to any other school.

It's simple. It's up to each kid to weigh the pros and cons of what's available to them and then choose accordingly. So maybe if you don't make it into BYU, the other schools sound better than BYU-I. But the choice is still there. I'm sorry BYU-I doesn't have as many programs as BYU, but that factors into the decision.
