Yeah I want to see the Eiffel tower, the Louvre, etc. when in Paris, but good local food adds to it. Doesn't mean I want to hit expensive restaurants for every meal, but like I posted above we do hit local grocery stores for some of our meals, and try something different. I'll admit some local food is good and some isn't. I know there's some stuff sold in Asia I wouldn't be trying. But I'm somewhere between insisting every meal abroad being a McDonalds' hamburger and trying bat soup.
