1. 3-point shooting has come on. Lohner, Knell, Johnson, and even Averette have been shooting the 3 recently at a much higher percentage than earlier in the year. This is a big deal.
2. Fewer wild drives into traffic ending in a turnover. Several players had a propensity to do this earlier in the season. It still happens occasionally, but much less frequently. This saves possessions for the offense.
3. We're seeing more inside out passing. When Haarms and Harward get the ball inside, their more likely to kick it out to an open shooter than they were earlier in the season.
4. More drive and kick to big men. We're seeing this more and more, especially to Haarms and Lohner. Averette it doing it more. So is Barcello.
These things show me that this team is progressing as a team. Players are learning their roles and the expectations, and fulfilling them more consistently. It's significant that last year's team was playing it's best at the end of the season. We're seeing the same kind of progression with this year's team. Props to the coaches, and props to the players.
