Historic P/E ratios, etc, aren't useful when extrinsic demand goes up.
And I see nothing but extrinsic demand going up over the next several decades. i.e. More people will get their money in the market and everyone wants to buy amazon/apple/whatever.

There may be some unforeseen catastrophe that creates a depression. Sure. War, Pandemics, sure. But all things being equal, the stock market is as good a bet as any to make money on your money.
