Combo of 1 and 2 with the caveat that I only do the second one when I'm actively
trading. When I do that, it is more of buying options for 2-10 days. I have looked at changing that to 2-10 weeks, but have never followed through with it.
But that is more like income than investing. At least, that is how I look at it.

Other: my financial advisor takes care of it and I never really have a clue what is going on but I trust them.
