Michigan State “had glory days spanning more than one coach”? Not really, they
Had Magic and other than that their glory years have been exclusively with Izzo.
And to say they have fallen from glory is not even close to accurate. The last time a Final Four was played, they were in it and they tied for their regular season conference championship last year. This will be the first time four years they don’t win or tie for their conference championship.
They only had two Final Four Appearances prior to Izzo (Magic in 79 and one in the 50s).
With Izzo they have 8, he is their glory years.
