My two older brothers shared another room and wouldn’t allow me in there.

My younger brother, the baby, was in a crib in my parent’s room. That left the entry way coat closet for all of my belongings and I slept on the couch in the living room until I was 12.

Then we moved to Utah and my dad doubled his salary (all the way up to 60k I think). This was in 1990ish. That doubled our house size and I thought we lived in a mansion.

My kids don’t believe these stories. They are incredibly spoiled (but also fantastic)
