He & all the TEs lost touches as Rex came into his own.

He still was out there quite a bit as a blocker. Personally, I think he woulda been used more as a receiver if he'd just dropped the leaping act. Sure, it led to a couple highlight reel plays — but overall he missed a lot of opportunities to punish the D — & was lucky he didn't hurt himself.
