RE: I'm confused at exactly what you are insinuating
We have a Ute lover! I am happy to answer your question. Of course Kalani would be happy for his cousin and for the, presumed, pay raise. I am happy for anyone in any profession to receive a pay increase-if they deserve it. Fesi is a great young and up and coming coach. I realize that BYU is, more than likely, not his last destination in the coaching field. However, you will never hear me say I am happy that a BYU coach accepted a similar job with Kyle Wittingham. Kyle Wittingham is on the record that he could careless about how BYU does. He cares for Kalani who is his friend but not the University. That came out of his own mouth during an interview a few years ago. To summarize your question. I wish and wish that BYU would step up and leave the coaching pay scale of the Group of Five Conferences and pay their coached competitive salaries with that of the Power 5 conferences. That means the head coach and all of his assistant couches and auxiliary staff. I just can not be happy for the Utes. Especially when it come at the expense of BYU. You can call me crazy. You can call me selfish but at least you know where I stand. Go Cougars!
