Utah favored, but comes down to QBs
Utah is stacked on defense and probably also has the advantage on OL, based on talent/continuity/experience.

BYU has the advantage at RB, though I've learned never to bet against Utah finding/developing a stud RB and they've certainly got options there.

WR/TE is probably our biggest advantage, as it's currently a weak spot for Utah (Kuithe and Covey give them a decent floor, but if either of them are out it gets real painful)

But the most important, most impactful position is an unknown for both teams. Both teams even have similar options
The steady vet with track record: Baylor Romney and Charlie Brewer
The physical freak with untapped potential: Hall and JaQuinden Jackson
The highly touted recruit: Conover and Peter Costelli

And that's without even considering Cam Rising, who was the Utah starter last year until he was hurt.

Point being, we're optimistic about our QB situation and options, so are they. It depends so much on how both teams' QB carousel plays out though

If we hit and they don't, I like BYU's chances
If we both hit (or both don't), they're probably favored (based on that defense) but it's well within reason to see a BYU win.
If they find a difference-maker at QB and we don't, then it's obviously a rough situation.
