How does losing Grimes and Holliday play into this game?
What is your secondary like this year? You left out Dixon who has returned and is more of a deep threat than Thompson was. Losing Thompson hurt but no more than Milne. I would say Utah has the advantage at TE/WR just because we have more experience and talent on defense side. I would also bet the farm that we have at least one WR coming in.
Allgier is a good back but given that you are replacing Grimes and a few guys up front going against Utah's Dline while Utah brings back their Oline along with Bernard, Curry (LSU), Pledger (OU), and Parks, as you said, never bet against Utah finding a stud there.
All in all, straight up, no way Utah isn't favored and about the only way BYU has a real advantage is if Utah starts out completely flat at QB, not saying that couldn't happen but not likely for either team.
Other thing that helps, Utah has a lot more depth.
