He also has a cannon for an arm, is very athletic, and has performed fairly well in the limited action he's seen. Not off the charts good, but still good.

That is why there is some hype.

I also believe Conover has the better upside. He also has a year in the system, and he ran the scout team. The question will be, who is ready to start Day 1 in 2021? Who gives us the best chance to win right away, with a pretty challenging schedule?

I certainly don't know who that is, but based on our limited knowledge, there is very much a case to be made that Hall should be the guy.

My guess is that Hall will win the starting spot, but that Conover will be waiting in the wings if Hall doesn't perform to expectations, similar to what happened in Wilson's freshman year.
