Pres. Dallin Oakes in the 80's successfully defending a lawsuit from Stanford Law School trying to force BYU to to have men and women cohabitate in the same dorms. This put egg on Stanford's face and it's friends of the pac 10. This caused tension for many years. Are they past that? I don't think so...they have just added other issues. Can you see BYU involved in that mess of a pac 10 last year??? big 12 or independent
