It depends. The Olympians who do the 5k/10k double in track run extremely high
mileage and train specifically for that scenario. These are incredible runners, but they're still college kids, and don't do nearly the volume and don't train specifically for this scenario. This is exactly why Eyestone doesn't want them doing both.
