I'm not sure he would have started over Huntley though because Huntley was 2 classes ahead of ZW, was an experienced starter and a good QB at that. Huntley's numbers were better in 2018 and 2019, so there's that too.

Situation/right place right time plays so much into success and the situation at BYU (opportunity to start as a Freshman, 2020 season number of games played and SOS) really played a part in ZW success. I think he's really good, but he doesn't go first round under a less beneficial situation. Alex Smith wouldn't have either.
