So what I could tell through cloud coverage with my Night Sky app, it was either
Kornephoros or Alphekka. Definitely not Mars, didn’t realize Mars was way to the north at the moment from where I’m at.
I’m leaning Kornephoros since it shows red/orange on the app whereas Alphekka is white, if that matters. Or it was neither, but from what I could tell those are the best options
