Right, but that doesn’t guarantee anything.it certainly shows promise.
But Alabama signed a 4 star QB from Cottonwood a few years ago who never ended up playing, and then transferred to Utah and rode the bench.
Heaps was a HS quarterback prodigy offered by Notre Dame, Tennessee, Washington etc.
Who knows, had he played at a HS football powerhouse and not focused so much on baseball, Jaren Hall may have been much more highly recruited.
Just last year, Jaxson Dart went from an obscure QB recruit at Roy high school, then transferred to Corner Canyon and quickly became one of the most sought after QBs in the country.
