I am sometimes embarrassed FOR the teams my kid has been placed on.

I try to practice with him on my own, but I'm not a great teacher, and he has little patience for my meager efforts.

I know what you mean. all the kids on my son's team just bunch up in the middle.

In my experience, sub-varsity teams with any depth in quality are an exception.

Usually just embarrassed by the parents on the team and their overreactions.

My HS fresh/soph B team lost a soccer game 24-0. I hung it up after that.
