As a coach, do you go sit in all the classes to make sure they’re legit or do you trust that the university faculty takes its job seriously and monitor the grades for signs of trouble? I can’t imagine many coaches do a deep dive into curriculum.

Now if you want to say UNC’s punishment was out of whack compared to BYU’s, I’ll agree with you.
