hill behind our trailer. My son and the dog had come down this same hill numerous times. However, this time my son tried jumping off a little ledge, a foot a so high. My lab grabbed his shirt and pulled him back.

My son yelled at the dog and tried to go again over the ledge. Again the dog stopped him. My son tried a third time and the lab grabbed his shirt again.

So my son finally walked to the side about 10 feet and the lab allowed him to walk down.

We don't know why the dog wouldn't let him go that way, since they both had done it numerous times.

I still wonder to this day if there was a snake or something under that ledge.

My son loves telling the story.

It is still a mystery but a good story.
