I've had it done. Contractor recommended it and assured me it was ok. I wish I

had him do it right the first time. I don't think it will last as lone. The shingles seem to curl up on the edges more.

Well, it's been too long (20+ years). It should only be labor costs but you may pay for plywood if damage is found
