I disagree. Blue blood programs typically thrive on top 100 recruits...
...and won’t be as involved in the transfer portal unless the kid is really really good. I think if anything we’ll see the flow of traffic going more the other way with 4 or 5 star kids who didn’t get off to a good start at a blue blood or high major program and got lost at the end of the bench wanting a chance to jump start their career and they’ll be more interested in being a big fish in a smaller pond to get playing time at a mid-major school.

I think a school like BYU will generally favor very well in comings and goings of players through the portal picking up nice starting players like Elijah Bryant, Haarms, Barcello, etc while losing our end of the bench players who are willing to drop down to a UVU type school to get playing time.
