Depends on where. But the original creators called it Nutella when pronounced in

English, but later said they didn’t care how it was pronounced when some started calling it New.

That’s according to a no longer live (as far as I can find) website. Take it for what it’s worth.

It was called “Nut”Ella in my mission in Australia
