The Who and I can prove it.
I wrote my 11th grade honors English research paper on why they were the greatest rock band of all time. I used great empiric evidence to support my theory like how they were innovators with the idea of a rock opera (Tommy) and that Roger Daultrey invented the guitar smash when he accidentally stuck his guitar into the ceiling of a club as he jumped off his amp and the club subsequently went crazy. All taken from reliable sources like album jackets and rolling stone magazine.
My teacher gave me a C stating I should have picked a better subject matter.
