We have Puka and Robinson now. So some Orem guys are on the roster
As for other Orem stars, none of them have ended up at Utah.
Noah Sewell was only at Orem for 1 year and he was always going to Oregon especially after his brother was already a star there. BYU made the mistake of not pursuing the oldest Sewell brother and paid the consequences by missing out on all 4 brothers.
Kingsley is very close to the Sewell family so it was a shoe in for him to go to Oregon. Even though his mom is an Ah You and he has close connections to BYU. Maybe if BYU hadn’t been crappy to mediocre from 2017-2019, they might’ve had a better shot. Lazy recruiting department efforts prior to Jasen Ah You taking over also played a role.
Cooper legas wanted to play QB but BYU offered him as an athlete. BYU had a much better QB recruit in Conover so legas went to usu.
Hunter hill went to usu. BYU had better OL options that year.
