I drove a truck with a flatbed trailer a few times after my mission
on interstate construction-supply delivery trips up to Idaho and Washington from SLC. Not an eighteen wheeler, but a much longer rig than I had driven before.

I was impressed with how many trucks helped me by flashing their lights when I had passed them and was far enough ahead that I could safely change lanes to the right again and pull in front of them. This is their work world, and I thought as a general rule they were courteous drivers.
