I've seen grizzlies on 3 separate occasions.
The first time was a mama bear with 3 yearlings in the Many Glacier part of Glacier NP. The second time was a mama and 2 small cubs on a ridge in Yellowstone (road to Tower Falls). The third was a different Yellowstone trip, in the Hayden Valley. The grizzly was WAAAYYYY off in the distance, and we (and about 100 of our closest tourist friends) were using scopes/binoculars to watch him? eating a kill.

Does in a Natl Park. count? If so in Glacier NP when I was a kid going to see Aunt & Uncle who lived in BC.
