What he will always be remembered for are the incredible hi-light runs where he went past, over, and through defenders. BYU has never had a QB that had that combination of power, athleticism, and speed. As time goes by, though, we probably won't remember him for any particular awesome passing displays. He had a strong arm, but it never seemed like he could really throw in rhythm, and he sometimes really struggled making the easy/routine throws. Sure, some of it was the quality of receivers at his disposal, but a lot of it was due to his happy feet. His superior athleticism gave him an incredible crutch, and oftentimes he would bail on plays too early because he always felt that he could make a play with his feet.
