Whole House Fan (Quiet Cool). Worth it?
Anybody out there who has one? What is your opinion?
We have a 5,000 sq foot, 3 story home. During the summer months our electric bill is around $500 per month.
I got a quote for a large quiet cool fan installed for $2,550. I'm concerned though if it will cool the entire house? The salesman said
a large fan would cool around 3,500 sq feet, but our basement is 1,600 of the total 5,000 sq feet in the house. And since it pulls the
cool air from the basement, we should be fine.
Thoughts?
