He completed all of his prerequisites and once he was accepted to med school he didn't bother graduating from college. He ended up repeating his first year of med school and nearly failed his 2nd year as well. He had some family problems and was just going to quit when everyone spurred him on by reminding him he was way in debt and didn't have any degree at all to fall back on if he did quit.

He ended up having a successful career
