How weren’t we lumped in with the other G5 schools for access to the New Year 6? Like how was that able to get approved? Anyone understand how that was worked out? I hear all the conferences signed off on it...but they were able to leave independents out?
We better not let that happen in the future. We need to be treated like notre dame or be given the same access as the G5’s.

The rule is "highest ranked G5 champion". We can't be a champion of a G5 conference because we aren't in a G5 conference

Because all of the conferences voted. BYU didn’t have a vote then and we won’t now unless we join a conference.
