It’a attracting more people for sure, but it’s not the next California.
Nothing will ever be like California in terms of desirability. The entire inter-mountain west has good tech jobs now and is a good place to live for many types of people. Utah is not unique in this, and it won’t ever be as desirable as California.
However, the new economy will attract more people here, as well as keep many here that would have otherwise gone elsewhere.
