The Pianist, when the whole family is waiting to be put on the death trains
no gore, but just so heartbreaking because you know what’s coming. And they seem to have a pretty good idea, too. When they split up that tiny piece of candy, their last remaining morsel of food, to be shared 5 ways it among them has a Last Supper-like quality.
