I run a non-profit leadership/service organization for high school sophomores. I'm an unpaid volunteer. It's called HOBY, I'll post a link below.
Someone hacked our bank account and stole $5,000. Our big seminar is in 1 month, and I noticed we were short funds. Someone stole from us in September... I just noticed because we only access the bank account once a year.
I reported it to Mountain America, they said too much time had passed and we couldn't be reimbursed (they filed an affidavit but said it was very unlikely). Now we are about $3-4000 away from being able to run our seminar due to the $5000
Anyone need to make a large charitable contribution? We are a registered 501(c)(3) so it is tax deductible, and we would put your logo on our program book as a sponsor (plus publicly thank the company multiple times at the seminar).
