Doubt it since many in St. George have northern Utah ties. They are transplants
from northern Utah or else have grown up Jazz fans.
Also, there is a distinct difference between Utah culture and Vegas culture. I just don’t see a lot of people from Utah cheering for Vegas teams. Some will for sure, but probably not high enough numbers to move the needle in a significant way.
For example, I think a lot of people from Utah will continue to cheer for the Broncos or another NFL team rather than adopting the Raiders. Time will tell I suppose.
